 THE LAND SPEED RECORD

To the left are a couple of photos of me at Black Rock Desert in 1997. I witnessed all four of the British Land Speed Record runs that were supersonic! It is something I'll never forget.

I volunteered with the Spirit Of America Team. I helped clear the course, and do some construction at their base camp on the Black Rock Desert Playa. In the evening we'd go to Bruno's Casino in Gerlach, NV eat dinner and watch Speedvision. Sometimes we saw ourselves on TV!
